Was wondering if anyone knew if using chicory root in place of coffee is ok? It's caffeine free I believe but decaf coffee is not good for us because of other things in coffee. So, I was wondering about chicory root?

Chicory root is inulin is a high FODMAP. It a easily and rapidly fermented by bacteria in the colon producing gas and worsen IBS symptoms in many people.
