My partner and I love to travel from NS down to SC each year. He wants to leave early in the morning around 6 a.m. I dont like travelling in the car without going to the toilet. There can be a delay of a few hours. How can I eat the day before, no meals but just water, a small meal, etc. Any tips?

Hello, you have to eat the safe foods and don't skip meals. It's important that your bowel is full and won't be empty because an empty bowel is more sensitive than a filled bowel. Take the foods from efi with you in the car in a coolbox for example. ( on this site, or the book). You can try frenchbread with turkey or smoked salmon. A peeled apple. Drink water or tea. Maybe iced tea from this site? And just tell your husband to stop every 1/1,5 hour for example so you can walk for a few minutes, go to the toilet and take your time to eat well. I guess you have to eat well for longer then 1 day. Try not to eat fat foods and not in a hurry. Enjoy.
