Prozac in liquid or pill form

Hello,

I was recently prescribed Prozac for my depression. My dosage is 20 mg.

I am taking the liquid form since I can no longer swallow pills.

If anyone on this board has taken this, please let me know how you did as far as effectiveness and side effects.

Originally diagnosed with IBS-C in Spring, 2008. During spring to fall of 2008, had at least 10 acupuncture treatments and Chinese herbs. IBS went into remission. IBS returned in late July 2013 after taking 2 oral contrasts for a CT scan for cancer follow up. Had more acupuncture with different practitioner in summer 2014, but received little benefit.

I took my first measuring teaspoon of this med last night and it was a DISASTER!! I was up until almost 3 am with horrible acid reflux symptoms.

I am NOT going to take anymore of it and will tell the doctor today.

I guess I am OUT of luck with any anti-depressant for now!
