Hi,
I have to go to the doctor today to find out about the pain in my stomach. If it is GERD and he wants to give me medication, what is the best thing to take for GERD that will not trigger D?
Symptoms:
Mornng
I get up and feel ok.
As soon as I eat I get incredibly sleepy and nauseas
and a headache
Then I get a pain in my stomach and I believe heartburn and gas
It can last all day but is almost always better after 4pm.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Cheerio

Cynthia,

A few years ago I was going to a therapist for myofascial release and visceral manipulation to help with pain issues. I mentioned that my mother had GERD issues and told me the best treatment for GERD was HCL caps. She swore by it...said her Grandmother took one every day and never had problems again. I've attached an article which will better explain it. Maybe it could help you?? http://www.livestrong.com/article/296666-hcl-supplement-for-acid-reflux/
