I have IBS-C. I cramp when I look at a vegetable so I have to eat something to offset it. This has been potatoes. (Rice constipates me)

What can I eat besides potatoes? I'm gaining weight and I need to find something else. I can't eat soy either.

Suggestions please.

Perhaps if you listed the meals and snacks you have eaten over the past 2-3 days it might give us some clues for suggestions.

Presumably if you are gaining weight you are eating other carbs. What are these other carbs?

I did this to myself over the past 6 months with overeating due to stress so I'm addressing that. But I have a carb addiction so I need to find other things to eat to help with the cramping so I'm not tempted by potatoes. If I can completely get rid of them that would be fine but I need something.

I also have no bread or crackers or wheat around my addiction is that bad.

Thanks.
