Is ALkaline water ok for people with IBS?

Is Malt syrup (liquid) ok for IBS?

Is it possible that enteric coated peppermint oil caps could CAUSE cramping/wing/dirrhea in IBS sufferers? It may be coincidence but when I use it I often get cramping and I always get reflux a good 10-15 minutes after taking it on an empty tummy with just a sip of water.

I think my capsules I take get stuck in my throat aswelL! I took some slippery elm caps and about ten minutes later opened my mouth and powder came out as I exhaled! I have to drink a lot of liquid with capsules or they seem to get "stuck".

Is wheatgerm ok or too much IF? Thanks!

Alkaline water is ionized water with no particular benefits according to the Mayo Clinic. It will not have any particular effect on IBS.

If you have GERD then peppermint capsules might not be a good thing to take. Check Heather's notes on Peppermint Oil Capsules - How to Use 'Em!

Wheat germ is a high insoluble fiber food containing 10-15% dietary fiber.
