I wanted to ask about a new prescription I was prescribed, remeron (mirtazapine). The inactive ingredients are lactose, celluose, and magnesium sterate. Now since those are inactive, is the medicine ok or not?

Inactive simply means that is it not a medicinal ingredients such as fillers like lactose, cellulose and magnesium sterate. If you are lactose sensitive then it is possible to be a problem although it is likely present in a small amount.

Constipation is a common side effect.
