Hi,
I have chronic nausea between meals and prilosec seems to help - likely the reduced acid helps eliminate some of the irritation. I want to stop taking this and try DGL, but there are a lot of brands with different forms (chewable vs pills) and different formulations/ingredients.
I had initially heard that chewable is the best - but the chewable formulations either seem to have Fructose, mannitol, sorbitol (in the sugar version) or Mannitol, sorbitol (in the no sugar version). I have heard that some of these can be IBS triggers. There seem to be pill formulations without these, but I wonder if they are as helpful as the chewables? Also, I noticed a pill called DGL Plus that contains other things like slippery elm, aloe vera, marshmallow root, and ascorbyl palmitate.
I am wondering what brands, forms, and formulations people have had success with. Thanks:).

Update - I just found a chewable brand (Natural Factors) with only these extra ingredients:
Dextrose, cellulose, maltodextrin, guar gum, purified water, magnesium stearate(vegetable grade). Maybe this one is better???
