Hi all! Its been awhile since I have posted anything or asked any questions, but mainly b/c my IBS - C has been really controlled by my diet and Heathers Tummy Fiber. It was even tolerable during my pregnancy. However, after my c section 4 months ago (which I absolutely did not want, but obviously had no choice), I am IBS D.....I am going sometimes 3 times a day without much time to get to the restroom!! Completely OPPOSITE from what I was....

Has anyone else experienced this? Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I didn't have a C section, but, my IBS totally changed after I had my daughter...before mostly C and after D. I had my daughter many years ago and back then I didn't even realize what I was dealing with was even IBS!! My daughter is 30 and I've had IBS D ever since...:( It would be interesting to know if there is more of a reason to this all as in hormonal changes to the body, etc....

I wish I could say that I am stable and never have an attack but that is not the case. In fact I am dealing with the after effects of one right now! That being said, I totally gave up gluten and dairy, don't eat anything high in fat...There certainly is no quick fix or answer to any of this. If I stick to this diet for me and watch my stress levels (haha!) things are pretty good:) Everyday is a new beginning and that is what I try to focus on.
