It may or may not be safe depending on your tolerance for the insoluble fiber in brown rice. Long grain rice has slender grains that tend to stay separate and fluffy after cooking. I bet a billion dollars that has been contributing to my long lasting attack here. My husband went out and bought me converted rice and I've been eating a LOT of it everyday to stabilize myself... I actually have zero tolerance for whole grain brown rice, I get attacks basically while eating it.
