Here's the dumb question of the day...is long grain white rice the same as converted rice?

Converted rice is usually brown rice that is parboiled. It may or may not be safe depending on your tolerance for the insoluble fiber in brown rice.

Long grain rice has slender grains that tend to stay separate and fluffy after cooking. It can be white or brown.

Oh my GOSH! I bet a billion dollars that has been contributing to my long lasting attack here. My husband went out and bought me converted rice and I've been eating a LOT of it everyday to stabilize myself...

I actually have zero tolerance for whole grain brown rice, I get attacks basically while eating it.

Thanks for your prompt response!!!!
