I was having a good day all day long and then I had some chicken salad I bought at Publix. Now I feel bloated and my tummy is acting up. Is chicken salad really that bad? I had it with some Italian bread from the bakery and a salad. It could have been the green salad. If I eat it, usually I cannot eat it two days in a row and I had a green salad yesterday too.

Did you check the ingredients of the chicken salad to see if it contained any trigger foods. Green salads can contain a lot of insoluble fiber that can trigger IBS symptoms too.

Chicken salad is usually made with mayonnaise and that is too high in fat for me and is always a trigger. Green salads are not an option either....can't tolerate anything with raw/cold vegetables.
