Hi everyone,
I'm still new to efi and still learning what my body can tolerate. What I already know is that abstaining from caffeine is doing great for my gut and my GERD. However, I've seen reference to green tea in Heather's recipes, and I'm wondering what kind of green tea this is. Does it not have caffeine? How can I find it? Same with the mention of Arizona tea. What kind of Arizona tea is she referring to that would be safe to drink?
I love tea and this makes giving up caffeine so much easier when I have something hot and comforting to drink. My personal favorite right now is a combo of fennel and peppermint with some cinnamon and honey. Yum!
Thanks for the help! Morgan

You might check this newsletter for more information. In the Black tea section Heather says
Green teas, especially decaffeinated versions, are often much more tolerable. Green tea is also phenomenally good for your overall health, so if you can tolerate the decaf variety, particularly blended with an IBS-helpful tea like fennel or peppermint, it's well worth drinking.

Thank you. So I should look for green teas that are marked as decaf.

I love all kinds of tea - black/green/white and drink them all in decaf versions with good results.
