What To Have in the AM To Perk Us Up?

This has been a problem for me, I am not a morning person. Others I know can drink coffee or take 5-hour energy, something to give them a perk.

For us with IBS, WHAT are some possibilities on drinks/potions/products we can take in the AM or at the 2:30 crash?

I understand common here people say "get better sleep" but lets be practical; this problem still happens.
Thanks.

The best perk-me-up in the AM is a breakfast that contains protein and carbs and similar snack in the afternoon. There are no IBS safe stimulants like caffiene that will do the trick without exacerbating IBS symptoms.

Any other suggestions?
Suppose you need a drink for just one early day, which is the best to do?

I'd second that opinion. A good healthy breakfast, for example, oatmeal with peanut butter. Drink plenty of herbal teas and water to stay hydrated.
