Anyone who is familiar with W.W. knows that additional Fiber in foods is a W.W. plus. My question is this: is the type of Fiber in Heather's supplement the same kind of fiber that W.W. wants. If so, does the added grams of fiber count on figuring out the points value of foods that I cook? Thanks

Fiber comes in two forms: dietary and functional. Dietary fiber comes in two forms: soluble and insoluble. Acacia is a soluble fiber and according W.W Dietary Fiber: The Basics is consider to be a good fiber for weight management. Have you seen the following comment in W.W. web site?
"Weight Watchers PointsPlus™ plan and the formula used to calculate PointsPlus values is based on the foods as they are purchased. Therefore, adding a fiber supplement will not alter the PointsPlus value of any individual food product"
Taking a soluble fiber supplement it will definitely increase the total dietary fiber content consumed in a day

I had not seen the information from the WW site. Thank you. I was wondering though, not so much adding it to a pre-made food but rather adding to a recipe.

It won't add points no matter what. I wish I could quote a good source for you, but I can tell you I've followed WW for over 10 years, and I've never seen anything that indicates adding a fiber supplement to anything will increase the points.
