I'm thinking about asking my GP to change my stoolsoftener, because it contains an artificial sweetener (Na-saccharinate). My (pain)symptoms are getting worse, perhaps that could be the trigger..
I found a different one without flavourings and sweeteners, but it contains Na-HCO3 (180mg). Could this be a problem (creating excess CO2)?

You can take up to 2 grams of NA-HCO3 four times a day as an antacid. A 180 mg of sodium bicarbonate is quite small so it likely won't have much effect. It is worth a try. Presumably the active ingredient is sodium docusate?

Thanx! The active ingredient is macrogol (same as the one I'm using now).

Macrogol contains propylene glycol which is an osmotic laxative. In North America this is generally considered a laxative not a stool softener. Generally speaking stool softeners contain emulsifying, wetting, and dispersing agents such as found in Docusate .
Osmotic laxatives are harsher than stool softeners. Could it be the laxative that is causing problems not the non-active ingredients?

Ok, thank you for the information. My doc called it a stoolsoftener I guess (or I've translated it wrongly ). I also don't need more of it over time.
I got it today and going to try for a few days to find out if my symptoms subside.. I hope so, because macrogol has been working fine for me for over a year. But I'll keep the docusate in mind.

Do you know of any other (real) stool softeners?
I tried to find the docusate, but they only have it for rectal use over here..
The only oral 'stoolsofteners' (that's really what they call it) I can find are all based on macrogol (plus electrolytes).
I guess the macrogol is indeed causing symptoms at the moment . Allthough my symptoms are different (and less heavy now than they were with the added sweetener).

As I recall you live in the Netherlands. Please correct me if I am wrong. You can find a number of ads for Docusate tablets in the Netherlands by search Google as follows:
Ducosate site:nl
For example here is a link to the manufacturers web site in the Netherlands that has contact information that you can use to find out where to buy the product
Dulcolax

That's right, I live in the Netherlands!
I can't find the 'dulcoEase' or anything else with ducosate in the dutch assortment ( dulcolax nl)... Only the bisacodyl or picosulfate stuff etc.
I'll see my GI doctor on friday, I'll ask her about the ducosate sodium/dulcoease.
Well, hopefully the AD therapy is going to work for me, so I don't need another stoolsoftener..
