Im a little confused. I read that sourdough or french white bread are "safe" soluble fiber breads. I've been stocking up on a brand this naturpath told me is safe....)LaBrea daily made "white sourdough", but I just noticed it s first ingredient is wheat flour!
is this "safe"????
thanks!

Wheat flour or white flour is safe. However, if it says something like "wholegrain wheat flour" which is brown flour then it isn't safe because it includes the bran. You can read more about it on the insoluble fiber web page.

I have encountered sourdough bread that contains cellulose as one of its ingredients. Essentially this is an insoluble fiber and it can be a problem for some people. Make sure you read the ingredients label carefully
