Are they just as safe as fresh

I don't really eat them fresh, but I cook them into my oats, ie microwave them (think that counts as half cooking ) and I have no problems. (But I always make sure I have more SF with them as they are high in IF.)

[I've tried VSL#3 -> I could tolerate v good amounts of IF (even with less SF), it worked great (but overall I find it too expensive)]

As long you chopp cook or mashed them and peel the skin from some and eat them with souble there fine. I put fresh blueberries in my ceral and eat fresh strawberrys all the time with can peaches. hth
