Wow, I got the book yesterday afternoon and read the whole thing before bed. I am actually optimistic from what I have read that with the right changes this may actually work for me. I do have random questions though to help me get started, but I will try to list most of them separately. Important question for me though is how safe is peanut butter (creamy) it wasn't really touched on? Also I saw where you could use non-fat salad dressings, but what about balsamic vinegerette instead. Is this good or bad?

Heather - you are a Godsend, thank you for writing this book and creating this environment for the first time in 19 years I have hope.

I personally have to be careful with peanut butter cos it's really high in fat. but apart from that, it's great.

I have vinaigrette on a regular basis, have zero problems with it, although that is not the balsamic variety I don't think, so perhaps someone else will be able to help regarding that.

i have peanut butter at times but the fat really hits me quick...i have to be careful because i usually eat too much at once...it's hard to use a small amount..i used to loooove peanut butter and honey sandwiches but i can't handle the honey either..i don't use the dressings b/c i'm afraid of salad in general...
