I know that Heather recommends eating soluble fiber with protein but I have heard that it is best to eat protein alone becasue it digests more completely this way. I know there is debate over this..but I was wondering what is really likely to happen if you eat protein like chicken or turkey on an empty stomach? It doesnt seem to bother me at all, my only concern is it may cuase constipation?

Eating protein with or without starch makes little, if any, difference to how completely protein is digested. Many foods, for example grains such as wheat and corn, contain both proteins and starches. The GI tract has evolved to efficiently handle all kinds of foods simultaneously. Also combining foods often enhances absorption of nutrients.
