On the trigger list is says "Artificial sweeteners, particularly sorbitol, can trigger pain, cramps, gas, bloating, and diarrhea." Splenda is an artificial sweetener. Also, check this Splenda and IBS? article in Heather's newsletter. It is known to cause GI problems in some individuals. Go Ask Alice at Columbia University has a nice writeup on Sucralose (Splenda) that you may find interesting.
