Amitriptyline?

I forgot to mention that the doc is thinking about putting me on a low dose of amitriptyline ... is that smart/wise to do?

OMG many, many years ago a doc tried this on me for severe anxiety. It about killed me with side effects. I don't want to scare you, but I would think twice. I ended up going a natural route and boy I'm glad I did!

I take 50 mg of amitryptiline at bedtime, with absolutely no problems or side effects. I find it interesting (slash baffling) to do searches on drugs on this site, since people's reactions can differ so widely.

Doc and I decided for me to try Align for a month and then re-evaluate my symptoms ... I tend to have a ton of troubles with side affects from any drug ... if it says it "could" happen it will for me ... so I am very careful about taking new drugs ... I also went back on my Bentyl also ... hoping for better days!!!

This drug made me so constipated. I would not take it if you have problems with constipation.
Good luck with the Align. I take it and I "think" it is helping.
