New to the message boards. Trying hard to follow suggestions for eating for IBS. I have noticed in the last 2 days, that I wake up very dizzy. Tends to disappear as the day progresses. Could I be lacking something in my diet? Thanks

Welcome to the board,

It would be helpful if you could list the meals and snacks you have eaten in the past 2-3 days. It will give us some clues.

Are you IBS-D, IBS-C or IBS-A?

Thank you for the welcome. I am IBS-C. I was also tested for Gluten intolerance and it came back negative. My doctor thought I may have a wheat sensitivity, so I have been eating pretty much Gluten free for a year now. My breakfasts were Chex GF cereal with Lactose Free milk and a piece of GF raisin bread with a little peanut butter. Other breakfast was GF hot cereal with same toast and pb. Lunch was one piece of GF bread, mustard, rice cheese and turkey with baked lays. Today was 2 pieces of GF homemade pizza. GF sauce, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and rice cheese. Dinner yesterday was 2 corn tortillas with grilled chicken, guacamole and little bit of rice. Some corn tortilla chips also. I have been snacking on Luna bars or applesauce the last 2 days. For dinner tonight I am making homemade GF tortilla soup.

My dizziness has gone away for now. I am 5'7", weigh 116 pounds and my BP is usually 118/75 or so. I do notice that I have become very food obsessed, worrying about everything that I put in my mouth. My biggest complaints have been bloating right after eating and terrible gas with burping. Sure appreciate any input. This all started in 2005. Most of my relief has been due to my research and trying things rather than any help from a doctor! Thanks
