Metallic taste in mouth

My research is on-going and vague so far but I thought I'd see if anyone knows or has heard of a connection between having a metallic taste in your mouth and IBS?

There are many causes of a metallic taste including the common cold or impaired smell. IBS is not one of the causes.

Yes, I had this many years ago and it was from upper GI difficulties. Reflux, acid stomach, etc. The doc had me make some changes and it gradually went away.

The taste was so bad at times it made me feel nauseated. Glad that's gone!
