Equalactin can help with diarrhea and constipation. If you suffer from diarrhea then Equalactin can help absorb some of the excess water. For constipation sufferers, the product can help to bind water to the dry stool and produce softer stools that are easier to pass.

Has anyone tried this product? If so did it help you any?

Equalactin is a soluble fiber supplement containing calcium polycarbophil. A clinical trial has found it to be effective for some people.

I used it for a few weeks about 5 years ago. It worked for me, but it seemed pretty expensive and I get similar results with generic Fibercon.

However, I understand Walmart also has a version of Equalactin. I've never tried it because I won't shop at Walmart, but I have a co-worker who swears by it.
