messed up after endoscopy/colonoscopy

Hi, just wondering if anyone else has had some bad episodes/advice following a colonoscopy ? Both procedures were performed on Monday and for the past two days now I have been back in intense abdominal pain/bloating/lots of gas that won't pass. It's so frustrating to be back here b/c I have worked really hard the past 3 months to stabilize and I was having episodes once a week to once every two weeks. After starving for a day and a half I am really avoiding going back on the strick stabilization diet but maybe that is my only option ? Thanks for listening !

My last colonoscopy was more difficult and it took a day or so to get rid of all the gas they pump in but seemed to have put everything out of sorts for a couple of weeks. I increased Gas-X and it finally helped.

Thank you so much for sharing with me as I have been suffering for 48 hours now... I did decide today to take at least a day or two on the safe SF diet of bread, rice, etc. to try to normalize.

Good luck, You might want to try some ginger tea if it continues. Some say ginger ale but it would have to be flat for me. Brother had same experience fter last test.
