How can i fix my upper GI?

its so sensitive that i have to eat super slow, chew my food a million times and avoid certain combinations or i get indigestion...almost feels like IBS of the duodenum if that makes any sense. i will get this heavy feeling like food isnt going down - any ideas?

You are likely experiencing sensations from the Gastrocolic reflex. Heather talks about its effect on the colon here. It affects the whole GI tract. Individuals with IBS can be sensitive to the sensations produced by it perhaps due to the brain-gut dysfunction.

If it is IBS related it is unlikely to be fixable however it might be manageable through dietary change, medication, psychological tools, exercise and alternative means.
