I eat Rudi's organic white or sourdough. I buy it in my military commissary, but you can find it in some health food stores. Not sure what I'll do if they run out (been lucky so far), as it's the only bread I eat. Anyone have any luck with bread at Kroger or Walmart?

I prefer Village Hearth Light Italian most often. Never had a problem with it. They are a regional brand, however. I've found it at Woodman's, Schnuck's, and Kroger.

D'Italiano Light Italian is also safe for me, though they may be regional as well.

Healthy Life and Kroger Light Italian are a couple that might be more nationally available that I've had before.

I do Arnold's brand. They do not contain high fructose corn syrup. I love the Italian, but sometimes we get the potato bread.

We get an Italian loaf/peasant/saloio type crusty bread from the grocery store bakery. We have them slice it if they have time, otherwise we slice it ourselves. It is so much better than normal sliced bread.

I've heard of Rudy's and also Arnolds so I will look for those. Snorkie, I think your brands may be a regional thing. I didn't even think to get bakery bread sliced. Thanks all.
