do you all with ibs c and gas have rice milk and does it cause more constipation i no its meant to be best and easy on your tummy but i here that its rice that can cause constipation

Julie,
Please read my post about candida. If a Candida overgrowth is the problem for your IBS-C, drinking rice milk will only make it worse.
I too used to try drinking rice milk, soy milk etc.... only to find I felt terrible afterwards. It was not until I understodd that candida was the cause did I start my way to recovery.
Rice milk will "feed" Candida.

Check with Dr Whorwell's team to find out what they think about candida overgrowth. I suspect they will tell that there is no relationship between Candida and IBS.

i talked to help line today told them am having rice milk said to try few days see how i go he also said for me to eat in moderation what i like stop getting worked up and eat whats right for my tummy and not what will help me go the loo i no between you and the ibs team your all right i just want be on the right track

maybe it was the rasberries or the cereal? have u tried massaging your tummy or pushing a little to get gas out? perhaps the anorexia is too much stress on your body and affecting your ibs?

aperson i no i think its both anorexia and ibs i have times when am great and times when am bad i think the rice milk will be ok i hope it will any way but then few weeks back i was on soya ,ilk and i was fine i am so confused i cant wait for hypnotherapy so far no appointment all i no its meant to be february

I think you need to treat and get rid of the anorexia before your ibs improve and be more consistant.

thank you for help and support i will never get over anorexia i no that in my heart i cant i just cant i have tried so much
even when they tub fed me for 9 weeks i just stopped eating again when they took it out

It's not that you can't. There are so many people that have overcome things like eating disorders,obesity. The world's fattest man lost hundreds of pounds. I feel guilty because of failing to follow the ibs diet when there are people out there with cancer or dying and all I have to do is get this ibs under control.
what if one day I do get something serios with my ibs. I would feel bad I wasted my life away not getting my ibs under control and have a more enjoyable life.
