I don't know about anyone else but every time I see articles on ibs its mainly talking about ibs-c. Why isn't there more articles and suggestions for ibs-d out there.

That's funny - I always feel like everything I see relates to IBS-D, and wonder why more isn't said about IBS-C.

I've never noticed that. D ers have more options when it comes to medicine and tend to get stable faster if that makes you feel better.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

I agree, I think that the public, mainstream conception of IBS is very much IBS-D. If I tell someone I have IBS, I presume they are imagining me running to the bathroom. As for research/articles, I tend to search for the C stuff so I'm not sure I can say if it's weighted toward one or the other.
