Hi jjuk,
Are you IBS-C, IBS-D or IBS-A?
What are the ingredients in the pesto? Did the white bread contain high fructose corn syrup or other unusual ingredients? Pine nuts are essential insoluble fiber. If you are IBS-D they could cause problems unless you grind them very fine. Even then you may not be able to handle them

Have you tried Heather's break the cycle. Since you have aggravated your IBS you may need to go back to basics and start again.
Say - did you know one of world's leading IBS clinics is in the UK. You might ask you GP to refer you to the South Manchester Functional Bowel Service directed by Professor Whorwell who is a world renowned IBS physician and researcher. You can see some interviews videos with him talking about IBS on the The International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders web site. In particular, the video interview by him titled Diet, eating, and IBS symptoms he talks about the simple process of eating aggravating IBS symptoms. Julie (Julieb123) from the board is seeing him.
Good luck
