Anyone have problems with wild salmon?

seems like wild coho or sockeye salmon constipates me, but farm raised wont. could it be the fat content? i also have problems with the fat in coconut, but avocados are fine.

Not with salmon itself, but with the way it is sometimes cooked. I grill salmon with just a touch of olive oil. When I am out dinning I always asked them to go lightly on the oil.

Generally speaking farmed salmon has a more fat than wild salmon. For example, wild Atlantic salmon has about 5% fat by weight and farmed has about 11% and wild Coho has about 6% and farmed about 8%. Sockeye has about 8% fat by weight.

If the amount of fat is the problem then you need to reduce the portion size

Sorry you are having problems with the wild fish. I wouldn't eat the farm raised. Have you read about what they do with these fish. YUK!!!!!
