I did mention this on a previous post, but do people out there have coated tongues? It is supposed to be a sign of toxins and candida but then I'm fed up with that line....Then again, what else could it be?

I've read that before. I've also heard that depending on what color the coating on your tongue is, it could be different things. Other than that, I don't know much else about it.

How do you have time to do all that reading? It must be interfering with your VIDEO games!?!

A lot of us have coated tongues, for one reason or another, but it doesn't always mean you have a case of Thrush. Since you are into alt. medicine you may want to take a look at this site that was mentioned here on this board a long while back.

http://www.beyondwellbeing.com/ibs/

Scroll down and click on what you think applies from the list on the left side. Almost every item there shows a tongue with a different coating. Whether this is actually relevant or not, I suppose, is an individual choice as to whether you believe it or not. (In some ways I'm still not sure who to believe. )

Before I was positively diagnosed with IBS a doc was convinced I must have a candida overgrowth of the intestines and so put me on Nystatin. Big mistake and it made me sicker than a dog. Unless you have a reliable lab to do a comprehensive stool sample test I understand a case of candida of the intestines is impossible to diagnose, plus a case of thrush doesn't ALWAYS mean it has hit your intestines. This is about all I know about it………………which really isn't much, except for my own experiences.
