Question about Duncan Hines Decadent Carrot cake..

I was wondering since I have made Duncan Hines cakes Devils food ,Vanilla with JUST the Pure Pumpkin and have been fine.. Im wondering if this cake I could also make with just a can of Pure Pumpkin. Anyone know???

Hi,
How did you make the vanilla cake? Usind the mix and only pumpkin? Nothing else? NO egg whites, water, oil?

your right this is a recipe I posted a while back you just take a box of duncan hines cake mix( i use the devils food) and add one can of pumpkin nothing else! It is so moist and rich its awesome its a family favorite in my house! Good luck

Hi there!
Yes, you are correct. I have tried the pumpkin with different kinds of the Duncan Hines mixes. They have all worked well so far! Except the fact that I can't eat just one piece  I have to have half the cake  which is not good!
