I ate this for dinner last night. Asian Stir Fry OMG.....my tummy is killing me today. Broccoli, cabbage, onions, soy, peppers...

I was hoping the rice noodles would make it okay and I took 2 Gas Stop....but whoa, never again.

Has anyone else been able to eat this entree? I'm looking for IBS safe, GF frozen dinners. I thought this would work. NO WAY. Hey, I'm even willing to try non GF!

I'm so sorry you don't feel well! I have not eaten it, it looks good though. The HIGH OLEIC SAFFLOWER AND/OR SUNFLOWER OIL could be what got you or the 7 grams of fat/serving maybe? Also, most of the vegetables have a high sulfur content. That can cause the gas bloating to be very bad! I know you took the gas meds. but that doesn't always help me either!

I'm so sorry for you! Lots of tea, SF, and safe foods!

Feel better {{{Hugs}}}

You are so nice, Kappy! Thank you.

Does anyone have ideas for frozen dinners that are safe?

The brocolli and cabbage would kill me... it sounds yummy, but I can't eat cruciferous veggies without pain...

I have no clue about the frozen meals. I only eat whole foods if possible.

As for tonight, I would stick with something like potatoes or some SF meal. I would NOT try to eat anything that is not safe!!! You are going to have to get back on track now!
You need something easy on the gut tonight for supper. White rice, baked potato, fat free saltines, chicken broth, etc. look at the safe foods list and pick one you have at home already!

Hope that helps!

Here is a link to Amy's products. It has a store locator option. It lists frozen meals, give nutrional information on them, are gluten free, and also gives a list of the ingredients. I dont' know if there is any place near you that would carry this product but you can check it out and see.

I would steer clear of having all those vegetables together but also stir fries in general, if they are made in the traditional way, i.e. the ingredients are cooked quickly over a high heat so that they still have a bit of crunch to them - yummy but not IBS friendly! (Although I'm sure the idea can be adapted to make it IBS safe) It's annoying though isn't it, when you think you're making a safe choice and it turns out not to be, its so easily done. I overloaded on bread, rice cakes and apple sauce yesterday, after i'd already eaten a meal, and just felt so uncomfortable afterwards, why don't I learn? Anyway hope we're both back on track soon

Yeah, they were very crunchy veggies! I couldn't cook it long enough. They were very underdone. I'm done with frozen dinners!
