i have been using feiyan tea for my consaption the lady i bought them from in a store said they were safe i have been on them for a month and i have been going the loo but there are lots bad stuff about them to am bloated a bit to day but am scared now cos i no when i stop i will be worse and more constipated and i will crack up cos i get so down when i dont go the loo i can any one look them up and tell me what they think or have i already dont the damage i am scared and i just don't know what to do am still weighting for professor whorwell appointment

Julie, I suggest you get off this tea slowly. Cut down on it. Don't go cold turkey. Maybe that will be easier on your bowels?

thank you for advice but you no there is so much good points to it to and my GP says that is must be harmless cos only chinese tea after all

It's your decision....but there are many "natural" teas out there that can cause problems. what are the ingredients in this tea? It's more than a chinese tea....it's a diet tea. this usually should sound an alarm as "diet" products aren't usually IBS friendly.

Hi Julie,

I've had the same issue with Senna tea - it helped for my IBS-C but then i needed it to go, and when I stopped the constipation got worse. Definitely ween the tea down. Have you tried MiraLax? That's truly saved my life..
