I know it's not a cow's milk so I wasn't sure if it's different. I don't even know if I like it but I might give it a try if we can eat it

I love goat cheese, but I haven't eaten it since I was diagnosed. Please some one let us both know!

The creamy cheeses seem to be worse than the hard cheeses for me. I don't think the type of milk will matter with cheese, sorry.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Goat's milk is actually way easier to digest then cow's milk. If you are really intent on trying it why don't you first try a small amount and see how it affects you.

All dairy is not allowed on the EFI plan. If I had time I would link something on the site about other milk products and why they are all triggers.

I know that all milk (other than soy, rice, and almond) contain casein and most if not all also contain whey which are both milk proteins. Those are triggers for IBSers along with the fat content and lactose in them.
