I hate to be a bother guys...I know that I am asking alot of questions, but with Easter coming up.....I see that Pork is on the DO NOT EVER EAT EVEN IF YOU ARE STARVING food list lol, but I was wondering if you had lean ham or pork is that ok, or should you just steer clear? Thanks so much

Ham is my absolute favorite food and even if you dont have IBS I have heard that pork is one of the worst foods anyone can eat, due to the parasites and what grows in the pigs, etc. I can't answer it in a safe way, because if someone had a honeybaked ham in front of me, I'd have to have a piece.........sorry

My motto is if it came from something with 4 legs steer clear! Fins or feathers are fine by me. Not worth the after affects to indulge in it for me.

that's a good motto and it's easy enough for me to remember so i take it that turkey would be a safe food?

Turkey is safe for IBSers to eat (white meat only without butter basting), but not safe for the turkey.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
