Has anyone tried Spelt breads? I don't seem to tolerate wheat well and I have been reading that sometimes people who can't handle wheat sometimes do okay with spelt bread. Apparently the protein in the spelt grain is easier to digest and because spelt is one of the ancient grains, some people think it is more tolerable.

I know that technically spelt is still wheat, but I am getting brave to try something new in my diet. If anyone has any experience let me know! Thanks!

I have eaten spelt bread....both white and regular. I don't know if I had a reaction to it or not as I still don't know if wheat is really a problem for me. I didn't do badly with it though, so I think it is worth a shot for real!

It is suppose to be easier to digest. Let us know how it goes. Try it!

Well...I had a piece of my Wheat Montana Spelt bread last night, no problems, yeah!It had a really nice nutty flavor and it was wonderful to eat real bread. If anyone else feels brave, try spelt bread!!!
