New here, can't find answers in Search, sorry if topics have been covered: 1. has anyone tried a "greens" supplement, in powder or pill form, and did you have problems- since there are so many veggies in these, not sure if it would be too much for IBS? 2. Articles on this website show Activia yogurt has been shown to be effective for IBS bloating, but then the no-dairy thing is also an issue- how about if taken with dairy enzymes? thanks for any feedback.

Here is the thread where we discuss that study and yogurt use for IBSers. It is a locked thread because it is a controversial subject. It seems most logical to me to get probiotics (not hard to do) from a nondairy source.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
