So I have been wondering for quite some time, are the store bought oven baked fries okay to eat?

Just check the fat percentage of cals. Alexia fries are ok and Simply Potatoes have wedges that can go in the oven. I don't think OreIda fries are ok.
When I make my own home fries I cut russet potatoes into strips (bigger than McDonalds but not wedges) and I find that adding some oil, not just spray, makes them very good. 1T of oil amongst several potatoes is ok. The problem is you can consume so many potatoes when you make fries for some reason!

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

I make my own oven fries using red or white potatoes and just a little spray olive or canola oil. I cut my potatoes into wedges and cook in my toaster oven until they are golden brown and crunchy. They always turn out great, so good luck finding your own safe fries!

The Ore Ida Roasters original flavor are safe for me to eat. They're not fries but potato chunks. I even e-mailed the company to confirm that they're baked and not fried before frozen and packaged. I believe the fat content is under 3 grams per serving.
