My throat is sore and kinda burns..Yesterday I ate mango banana smoothie, some honeybees banana, ciabatta bread with turkey hamburger mixed with some onions, turkey bacon and a slice of tomato, some dried mango and papaya slices.Lots of fennel tea. Does fennel caus reflux? I took peprmint caps too.

I also had a slice of soy chese and a little ketchup on the sandwich.can the bread cause reflux or it to be worse? it hurts when it goes down my throat. I had rice milk and bananas with frozen mangoes blended in my blender..it was soothing..those things help reflux..but I ate like 4 bananas altogether and half a bag or more of the fozen mangoes cuz I made a few smothies..it still hurts..

I hope ur feeling better by now. I will occassionally get a burning sensation in my throat from the peppermint capsules depending on what i ate and how i feel when i take them.

A lot of people are allergic to mangoes and papayas. You may have developed an allergy. I have a friend who is allergic to bananas and all tropical fruits but is only really bad if milk is involved for her.
Also watch for sulfur in dried mango and papaya. It could bother you.

yea I think it started soon after I ate the dried mango and papaya..I too, 7 tums and It didn't help! I've been making lots of mango banana smoothies with plain rice or vanilla rice milk..seem fine to me. THe bread wouldn't bother me,either right? Ice cubs were soothing but also hurt going down! I wonder how long I will feel sore? I was too scared to take pepermint capsules..

On thursday night this started. My throat feels raw and when I sneeze it's painful. I don't know what the area is called,it seems to be one ring where it hurts the most when I sneeze.

You might have a virus. See what happens over the next 2-3 days.
