Has anyone ever used Mirilax?

I think that my 9 year old daughter also has IBS. Her gastro took an abdominal exray this morning and she is SO FULL he's going for drastic measures to empty her out before she gets an impaction. He wants her to take 2 double doses of Mirilax tonight and a square of exlax before bed. Then 4 double doses tommorow and then after that 2 normal doses a day till she's empty and then a dose a day for the next month until he sees her again. Then he wants to talk about putting her on Heather's diet. It's going to be a LONG WEEKEND!
Has anyone here ever taken Mirilax? I was wondering if I should try some.

I have used Miralax for the last two months. I have no problem tasting it when I mix it w/ juice. It definately helps me!! good luck!
