i no we cant have dairy ok i no that but i cant stomach rice or soya milk so what would be safer i may have asked this before but am bad to day and am confused constipated bloated shall i have lactose free cows milk or skimmed goats milk

I'm not sure but I don't think that either one is safe. It's not generally just the lactose that causes problems, it's also the milk proteins. Have you tried almond milk? I haven't had it but I know that other people on here drink it.

Almond Milk is excellent! There's a brand I get when I go to the "big city" haha. I can't think of it right now, but it is so good, and it even comes in individual boxes like juice when you were a kid! It is so good, and all natural! HTH.

I see that carregean (sp?) is in almond milk.
I once read that carregean can exaserbate ibs symptoms. Anyone know if this is true?

Ya know, I didn't know that. I have been able to drink it with no problems, so far. But I also was very careful of the other foods I ate, and usually ate alot of SF with it.
