My mom is a very awesome person! I was opening presents at her house yesterday morning when I opened up a tea cup with a removable tea straining. I was very excited because she had been helping me look for one a month ago because I wanted to start buying the loose peppermint tea. So I went to open my next present and inside the box was a bag of Heather's Peppermint Tea! She had gone to the site and ordered it for me (which is a big step for my mom, who still believes all this is due to stress). I had my first cup right away and it was delicious! It will be very hard to go back to the individual bags, which I'll have to do until I can get a canister to bring to work.

My mom says she got the order really fast and was surprised at how much it was! She had researched prices elsewhere and had noticed they were all too expensive. Thanks Heather - it's delicious!!

I drank my peppermint tea all day yesterday. It's my new addiction! If you are on the go a good tip I learned on this site for brewing loose tea is to use a coffee filter and a twist tie to brew your tea. It's very inexpensive. Glad to hear you got such a thoughtful gift. My dad also shocked me this year with a large assortment of teas to taste.

That's great! Aren't supportive parents so helpful? My parents have been awesome about my new eating habits, and eat everything I put on the table for them. My mom has even started cooking all her meals using my safe products even when I'm not home, just so I'll be able to eat the leftovers if I want to. I don't know what I would have done otherwise. I'm so glad you have a great mom, too!

Yippee! I got a blender/smoothie maker for Christmas, some exercise gear to encourage me, in addition to lots of other great stuff. But my best Christmas present was to myself - finding these boards so I can chat to others who are actually happy to discuss poops and all that stuff, when nobody at home wants to hear it!

Kree, you are SOOOOOO lucky! WOW! I'm impressed. I remember, as a little girl, going to a friend's house and meeting her parents. They were so nice to her, treating her like she was a person. Blew me away. I never forgot it.

There ARE parents like that out there -- obviously -- and you got 'em! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
