Does anyone have something really stressful happen and have the IBS come on like a week later? Is that normal?
It seems like those people that I know personally who react to stress by throwing up or migraines or whatever seem to have a reaction right away while mine seems to come on after I've calmed down and moved on!
Its very annoying to say the least!

This happens to me as well. It seems I actually feel better during times of great stress and then when things finally settle down, my guts then decide to go haywire!

Mine is also a few days after a stressful situation attacks. Then it takes months to feel better. I find I have to use denial often, then on a good emotional day I deal with whatever i need to. My emotions have been like a roller coaster since I got ibs.
