Hi my husband has IBS diarrhea. What Supplements should we try? We need help please!!

Welcome. It is very hard to suggest anything to you other than to read the website and all of material on the home page, incorporate the diet, add the correct fiber (acacia is great) and after your husband gets stable then you can worry about other "supplements". I am also IBS-D and I can't take any vitamins or mineral supplements without having an episode so I work very hard to eat a balanced diet. Good luck to you.

Welcome. I would suggest picking up Heather's books and reading into IBS as much as possible and doing what she suggests from there.

Hey, I'm ibs d and take Slippery Elm tablets to get an attack under control.I have followed Heathers guidelines to get things under control and then added food back in as I go.I know most of my triggers but sometimes I get a surprise.Your hubby probably knows his problem foods too and should avoid them.
Once you read through the boards you should have a better understanding of what to eat.
