Hello, Just wanted to know how anyone with Ibs-d does working 3rd shift. I am currently working a job on days that has my ibs-d in a uproar. I live in Ct so it's very humid. Thanks for any help M

I worked 3rd shift for years, and it really messed me up!! Although, I guess it depends on how well you sleep during the day. I have never been a very good day napper. I could sleep about 2-3 hrs tops, when I got home from my shift. That definitely was not enough to keep me going.
May be the climate that has your tummy messed up.

I've been on rotating shifts for 28 years ... mangage to get through by keeping something in my system day or night. Munch on pretzels, white rice, carots, sourdough bread, bannana bread, and plenty of water ... zero caffeine, lots of herbal teas. Minimum 5 hours sleep.

Thank You. I am on days now and hoping to go on third. Will get enough sleep during the day. Always try to keep something in my stomach so thats no problem. M
