HELP! Prolapse?

Hi everyone,
I'm moving to Europe on Sunday. As you can guess I'm a little (ha) stressed about the whole business, and it's made my IBS worse. I've got hemmorhoids and have been treating them with the anusol cream, but I'm so constipated that I can't get them to go away.
This next bit might be TMI, but here goes: by now, my poor anus is just a ring of inflamed, swollen tissue, and I'm afraid that what I've got is a prolapsed rectum.
Does anyone know anything about this (I've done a board search, and I'm still confused)? The treatment options sound a little dire, especially since the Medline page says that some treatments "may lead to fecal incontinence". EEK! Like that's something I'm willing to consider!!
