For those of you who eat chocolate, what kind do you eat? Do you eat strictly dairy free or do you eat those kinds that still have some dairy (e.g., milk fat)? Dove makes really good chocolate which is mostly dairy free but does contain milk fat.
Just curious...

My chocolate is limited to chocolate covered altoids (peppermint) and chocolate almond or rice milk. I really miss the occasional 3 Muskateers Bar but it just sends me into an episode of IBS. Maybe someday I can have the small size for a treat if I'm extra stable!!

I love really dark chocolate so my favorite treat is Lindt 85% cocoa. It's dark and sweet and...oh, now I want some... I believe it's entirely dairy-free.

I try to choose chocolate products that are completely dairy free. I haven't had much luck finding a chocolate bar that's completely dairy free. Ghirardelli's does have some dairy free bittersweet chocolate chips for baking. I usually use these when making cookies or a trail mix type snack.

My favorites chocolate-y products:

Chocolate Peppermint Stick Luna Bars

chocolate Almond Breeze

Soy Delicious Peanut Butter Zig Zag

Rice Dream Chocolate Nutty Bars

Heather's peppermint fudge cake

Dr. Oetker's Organic Chocolate cake mix

Thanks for your suggestions, everyone!
Sometimes I also buy Lindt (I like the 70% one) but I'm glad to know that some of us can tolerate regular "mainstream" chocolate (jhuggs). It gives me more options. My problem with Hershey's kisses is that I'm having a hard time sticking to only a few.... So I guess what always caused me problems could have been the quantity rather then small amounts of dairy in it .

I think it depends on level of stability, too. I mean of course, one square is better than a hundred and fifty, but I find that trace amounts of dairy in chocolate bother me more if I'm being lenient in other ways that week, too.

Right. Plus, when I'm really feeling sick no kind of chocolate is going to make me feel better anyway (well, it does emotionally but that's about it).

Mmmm.... Chocolate -
Any kind I can get my hands on!

Usually Lindt dark or dark / peppermint truffles.
As long as I only eat 1 or 2 in a day I'm fine. I don't even wanna know the ingredients - they are too delicious!

Hi,

I bought a small package of Oreo cookies a week ago and have been too scared to eat them. What is the verdict on these cookies?

Thanks!!
