expiry date for fibre

well i stopped taking acacia a while ago- i went off the wagon a bit and didnt look after my ibs as much as i should have, anyway, i still kept the fibre, but emptied it into a container- i brought about a year ago i think, anyway my question is there an expiry date of the fibre? can i still use it now? i am just checking to be on the safe side!

would really like an answer so if to know if start taking it again tomorrow!
basically just need to know if acacia has an exp date as i have took mine out original packaging!

I think the container says to use the product within a year of buying, but I'm not completely sure. I'll check the canister when I get home in a couple of hours and let you know!

Sorry, yes, the can says to use within one year of opening. I forgot to look at it last night, remembered this morning, then forgot to post... I've had a lot on my mind the last few days...
